Spinning Motion was a studio project, initiated 1980 in Berlin by Achim Hirsch and Manfred Tappert, gathers musicians with origins as diverse as their musical backgrounds, aiming to find common ground between Folk, Pop, Jazz and all of its diversified variations. They comprise, Stefan Thimm, a founding member of Accept, saxophonist Joe Kucera and the Bostonian trumpet player Eddie Hayes.
